Rachel and Zach had to cancel their wedding due to COVID. Wedding planning can be so stressful, I can't imagine the stress and disappointment of having to cancel your wedding. They got married in a small private ceremony and then nearly a year later they had their Happily Ever After party. I was so happy to be a part of their celebration. Rachel and Zach are both teachers, so I instantly felt connected to them. They did DIY silk flowers for all of their personal flowers and they were beautiful!

Their Happily Ever After party was at Rustic Acres Event Center in Salado. This venue has some really nice features. I loved these wine barrels. They also have two large chalkboards on the wall that can be decorated and customized. The bride's sister did a great job creating some really pretty art work on them... I of course did not take a picture of them.

One of the great features of Rustic Acres is that their rental includes use of the facilities for Friday through Sunday. We were able to set up all of the tables, rentals, and centerpieces on Friday which made the wedding day so easy. They wanted to use a variety of lanterns and other items for their decorations. I styled the larger lanterns with greenery and candles.

They also had cedar rounds that the father of the bride cut himself and the bride's mother arranged these florals.

I also had the chance to style a dessert table. They had a beautiful and delicious cake from Lily's Cakes, bundtinis, and later family member brought cookies and brownies!

Here is one more close up of this cake... It was so pretty!

They also had a BOUNCE HOUSE! What a fun option to create a great guest experience. It was fun for kids and adults. The bride's sweet grandmother even bounced some!

Of course the sweet moment of a private last dance. Seeing how truly happy and in love people are is one of my favorite parts of wedding days.
