Excuse me while I swoon over everything about this wedding. I'm warning you now this will be a long post. I have enjoyed every wedding I have done, but it just hits different when it is your sister's wedding. This wedding is the whole reason I started Riley Lou Events. I have always been close to Sierra. She is my sister-in-law and I started dating her brother when she was only ten. I have always known I would help her plan her wedding, but I had no idea it would create a whole company and a new career that I absolutely love. I loved planning and designing this wedding with Sierra. I am so grateful for this experience. She had such a wonderful team of vendors and everything turned out so beautifully.

Let's start with the invitations. They were gorgeous. I didn't place the same importance or value on invitations as Sierra. To be honest I told her people would just throw them away and she should do something simple... she did not care. She totally ignored me and I'm so glad she did. They turned out beautifully! These invitations were her baby and she worked so hard on them. You would be surprised how hard it is to get deckle edge paper. The invitation design came from Etsy. After customizing the invitation, she created the vellum jacket, customized, and folded each one. We also typed and printed the envelope addresses and I created a custom sticker for her to use as a seal. Canva was so helpful for this whole process! Don't tell her, but I might actually keep this one invitation.

Programs is another thing I told her I thought was unnecessary. She was considering a large program sign at first, but then I saw a program similar to this on TikTok. After looking at tons of examples on Etsy I designed this on Canva. It turned out so cute! The back had trivia, games, and other fun things. I am very proud of how it turned out.

Her venue had a beautiful bridal suite! The getting ready part of the day was so fun. We listened to music and drank mimosas while we got ready. We all had these adorable matching pajamas that we found on Etsy.

Another part of this venue that I absolutely love are these colorful doors. It was what originally drew us into this venue.

Look at these beautiful details!!

Her florals were so beautiful! The bouquets, the centerpieces, and the arch were all amazing. Her florist, Courtney with Cone Flower Designs, was so sweet and easy to work with! We used this arch at the ceremony site and then moved it inside for a statement piece behind her sweetheart table.

The guys looked great in these classic tuxes.

I have to admit that I have a slight bias, but this ring bearer and flower girl might be the cutest I have ever seen. Please notice how his little feet aren't even touching the ground... was so excited to make his grand entrance.

Sierra and Jordan were really focused on guest experience for their wedding and they knew that they wanted good food. Instead of traditional catering they had two different food trucks with pizza and bbq tacos. They also had a large charcuterie grazing table inside the reception hall. For cocktail hour they served chips and dips. Having food trucks instead of traditional catering was really unique and fun for guests. For their desserts they had a simple and elegant cake and an arrangement of bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cake.

Another way they created a unique experience for their guests was by having AXE THROWING!! Yes, axe throwing. It was so fun and such a big hit with all of the guests. Rowdy Axe has a really cool trailer that he can bring to any event. It was so much fun!

They had a sparkler exit and drove away in this awesome antique Model A.

All of the details came together so beautifully for their big day and I am so proud of the planning and design work I did for this wedding. We had such a fun time celebrating Sierra and Jordan!!
