How do you want your napkins folded?? Often when we ask our clients this question they have no idea. It is a small detail that most of them haven't considered yet! Just another one of the many details that go into planning a wedding. We can help you decide!

Napkins are an important part of your overall table design and we love a well designed table. Going to the rental company show rooms and playing with table options is one of the best parts of designing a beautiful tablescape. It is fun to try new combinations and experiment with different colors and textures. There are a ton of different ways to style your napkins. Here are some ideas!

We call this one the belly band. It is one our favorite napkin folds. It is easy to do and looks great. The belly band style works on most tables. You can do it with a charger, dinner plate, or salad plate. The band can be placed horizontally, vertically, or even diagonally. This napkin fold works well if you have a menu or a place card for each place setting. Lots of options and lots of combination possibilities!

This is what we call the waterfall fold. This is a popular option for napkins. This napkin fold can be a great way to add a lot of color to your overall reception look because so much of the napkin is showing. This works well under dinner plates and under chargers. You can elevate the overall look by ironing your napkins to have a cleaner look.

Another popular option is the napkin knot. The napkin knot can be tied a few different ways to create different looks. You can have the knot tied straight in the center or you can tie it to create a slight curve with the napkin. You can also tie the not higher up on the napkin so that the bottom of the napkin is a larger and fans out more. The napkin knot works great with any napkin texture.

There are so many possibilities for how to style your napkins! We always discuss napkin options with our clients because it is often something that gets overlooked, but it can have a big impact on your overall design. Here are some more options we have done!

There are so many options, the possibilities are endless. What's your favorite? Have you seen one you really liked that we didn't list?
